The Kori Artisan 7″ Santoku is a traditional Asian chef’s knife with an extremely versatile blade. Shaped similarly to a kiritsuke, the Artisan Santoku is perfect for slicing meats, fish, and vegetables. This santoku has a bit of curve on the edge, unlike a typical santoku, which will allow you to more easily get a rocking slice going, to quickly and efficiently prepare ingredients.
Canadian designed Kori Artisan knives are handcrafted for beauty, function, and superior performance. Taking over 60 steps to complete each knife, Kori Artisan uses advanced materials and crafting techniques to ensure your knives last you years. Each blade features a Japanese VG10 core, surrounded by 36 layers of hammered steel to create that beautiful layered Damascus pattern. The final point of contact is the handle. Using a beautiful, riveted canvas linen micarta handle, the texture provides the ultimate tactile sensation and control. It is completed by a traditional mosaic pin and end cap.
