The self-basting spikes on the flat lid completes an ideal environment for sumptuous stews, roasts, soups, casseroles and other one-pot classic dishes. The interior black matte enamel finish is an excellent surface for braising, resists scratching and develops “non-stick” qualities the more it is used.
