Canadian designed using Swedish stainless steel, the 9” Black Tusk Barracuda Fillet Knife was made to be different from most! The majority of fillet knives in the marketplace use 420 steel, great for corrosion resistance but less so for taking or holding an edge. The Barracuda blade, however, is made from a Swedish Sandvik stainless steel—14C28N—formulated specifically for the cutlery industry. Offering superior edge retention while still being corrosion resistant, the blade also features a dark grey titanium coating. It’s the perfect tool for most of our local fish like trout and salmon but is more than capable of tackling larger fish such as halibut.
The blue and black G10 handle allows for ultimate grip and durability and this fillet knife comes with a nylon sheath for safety and ease of transport.
